Solving ultra-Large Scale Acoustic problems
using Fast Multipole BEM technology

The Fast Multipole Boundary Element Method (BEM) is the next generation technology to perform vibro-acoustic simulation for exterior and interior problems. It allows you to solve ultra-large scale acoustic problems that were previously impossible to solve. With this new technique, large systems up to higher frequencies of analysis can be addressed, including complete vehicles or machinery up to high frequencies. This web seminar will explain the technology and the benefits of the Fast Multipole Boundary Element Method and the applications where it can be used for. Using a couple of reference examples, the accuracy and advantages will be demonstrated.

At the end, time will be reserved for a question and answer session to get further information on Fast Multipole BEM, LMS Virtual.Lab Acoustics and its technology.

In this web seminar you will learn:

  • The basic difference between the Boundary element Acoustics and the Fast
    Multipole BEM method and how these are complementing techniques.
  • How LMS approaches application examples such as engines, and full vehicle
    simulations.

Register (US session 11AM EST - European session 10AM CET) for this free LMS web seminar on June 11th.
