Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC garners award for innovative advancement in digital ICs

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Jan. 9, 2013 -- (PRNewswire) -- Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) today announced that its Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC has earned 2012  Product of the Year honors from Electronic Products Magazine. The Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC combines hardware programmability, software programmability, and I/O programmability.  As a result, Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoCs offer unmatched levels of systems integration, performance, and flexibility while offering system designers reduced power consumption, lower bill-of-materials and faster time-to-market.

The winning products for 2012 were selected by the editors of Electronic Products on the basis of innovative design, significant advancement in technology or application and substantial achievement in price and performance. Recognizing the best products in the industry, 2012 marks the 37th annual Electronic Products' "Product of the Year" Awards.
