Executives will discuss the corporate use of Google Earth and Maps. The seminar will be on May 31

MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012, the largest gathering of geospatial industry in Latin America, starts from May 29 thru 31 at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in Sao Paulo (SP), Brazil, and will host the 3rd Seminar Google Earth and Maps for Companies, on May 31. The seminar will have Google executives, who will discuss the applications of geolocation tools of the company within the businesses. 

The 3rd Seminar Google Earth and Maps for Companies commence at 9am and the first presentation will be introduced by Felix Ximenes, Google's director of communications in Brazil, to explain the current status and future of Google Street View in the country.  Google StreetView arrived in Brazil in 2010, and promptly picked up many users, not only for entertainment but also as a tool to leverage the marketing activities.

Google Earth and Maps have been widely used by various segments, especially for marketing analysis. Through the use of geolocation via Google Maps or Google Earth, you can go from geomarketing to assets mapping in large, medium and small businesses. In this context, Luis Krauser, from LBS Local, and David Garrana , from IPNet, will make an appearance.

Other big names present at the 3rd Seminar Google Earth and Maps for Companies are Clinton Libbey, sales manager of Google's geospatial products, Francisco Gioielli, Google Enterprise executive in Brazil; Tata Lacale, from GeoEye Brazil; Dario Bizzo, Operations Center of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Schuch, director of Google Enterprise for Latin America, and Claudia Werneck, from the Institute of Applied Geoscience of Minas Gerais. In addition, there will be the presentation of success cases with the use of geospatial technology tools from Google.

MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012 is the largest annual event in the area of geomatics and geospatial solutions in Latin America and will take place between May 29 and 31 at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in Sao Paulo (SP), Brasil. The first edition of MundoGEO#Connect took place between June 14 and 16 of 2011 in Sao Paulo (SP), Brazil, bringing together over 7,500 people.
