The new CATIA V5 interface allows you to import CATIA V5 parts (.CATPart) and assemblies (.CATProduct) from any version of CATIA V5 up to R13. It is based on the Dassault CATIA V5 toolkit but does NOT require you to have an installation or license of CATIA V5. The interface supports free point, wireframe, sheet and solid entities, as well as attributes for color, layer and label. Assembly import maintains the complete assembly tree structure with full component descriptions. This new interface provides a high quality, robust solution for anyone who needs to handle CATIA V5 models.
