Azuro Closes Fifth Consecutive Year of Revenue Growth

Adds Two More Top Ten Semiconductor Vendors to List of Customers

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — January 19, 2010 — Azuro, Inc., a leading provider of advanced clock tree synthesis and timing optimization tools for digital chip design, today announced that it has completed its fifth consecutive year of revenue growth. Increases in revenue resulted from both renewals and new customer adoptions, including the addition of two more of the world’s top ten largest semiconductor vendors to its already strong list of customers.

“Economic conditions in 2009 were extremely tough and yet Azuro continued to grow revenues and secure new customers,” said Paul Cunningham, president and CEO of Azuro. “Our PowerCentric clock tree synthesis solution continued to demonstrate significant power savings and deliver dramatic improvements in productivity on complex SoC designs. Our new Rubix unified useful skew and physical synthesis technology also contributed significantly to sales for the year by increasing clock frequency and slashing turnaround times in the back end of the design flow.”

To facilitate adoption of its technology, Azuro continued to work closely with its design flow partners, and announced the inclusion of PowerCentric in TSMC's new Integrated Sign-Off Flow. Over the course of the year, the company completed almost fifty production tapeouts across three different continents, more than double the number in 2008.

About PowerCentric

PowerCentric is a clock tree synthesis tool for digital standard cell-based chip designs. It reduces chip power by up to 20% and dramatically increases designer productivity on designs with complex clock networks.

About Rubix

Rubix is a unified placement, sizing, and useful skew-based clock tree synthesis tool for digital standard cell-based chip designs. It increases clock frequencies by up to 20% and accelerates timing closure in the backend of the design flow by up to two months.
