At the next IDS 2013 International Dental Fair, EGS will present its new Intraoral 3D Scanning Solution, for faster, more accurate, less expensive and less invasive 3D dental imaging and digital acquisition.
Bologna – January 29th, 2013 - After the solid successes in digital dentistry of the recent years, particularly with its desk scanner, EGS proposes a new scanner solution. The new Intraoral scanner, acquiring information directly on the patient in a quick and non-invasive way, without recurring to the typical imperfections and limitations of model casts, will allow for faster and more accurate digital model acquisition. The technical advantages and the miniaturization of the device will also grant a fast acquisition process and a more tolerable experience for the patient.
The new EGS Intraoral Scanner will export data in all the more common open formats and will be immediately and completely compatible with the all the other EGS dental products, particularly the powerful DentalCAD elaboration system.
The new EGS Intraoral scanner marks the entrance of EGS in the dentists market with solutions developed specifically to bring technology to the service of the patient. EGS Intraoral scanner will be followed, in a short time, by an innovative software of Digital Smile Design that enable dentist to project and manage the smile of the patient in a realistic way.
The new Intraoral scanner will be presented at EGS stand during IDS International Dental Show in Cologne, 12-16 March 2013 HALL 4.1/A13.
