MT360 Brings Together the Technology, Manufacturing, and VC Communities to Demonstrate the Role of Transformative Technologies in Manufacturing
McLean, Va. (March 9, 2020) – AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology today announced that Richard Browning will be a keynote speaker at AMT’s upcoming MT360 conference. He is the Founder and Chief Test Pilot of Gravity Industries, the company that designs, builds and flies Jet Suits, pioneering a new era of human flight. He will also speak and interview at the MT360 Virtual Factory immediately following his presentation. The MT360 conference takes place May 12-14, 2020 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif. and brings together the technology, manufacturing, and VC communities to discuss and demonstrate the role of transformative technologies in manufacturing.
“Richard Browning exemplifies the spirit of MT360 – the convergence of manufacturing and technology – and the Gravity Jet Suit leverages both traditional and transformational technologies including additive manufacturing, augmented reality, and the digital thread,” said Travis Egan, Vice President of Business Development at AMT. “Browning is a pioneering innovator, engineer, manufacturer, and technologist. He launched Gravity in 2017 with a vision to build Gravity into a world-class aeronautical engineering business, challenge perceived boundaries in human aviation, and inspire a generation to dare to ask, ‘what if?’”
The Gravity Jet Suit is currently being leveraged by several industries, including military and defense, search and rescue, aerospace, and transportation, to name a few. They are just about to launch the world’s first International Jet Suit Race Series starting in Bermuda on March 21st, a brand new form of racing entertainment that will showcase the technology to a mainstream audience.
