(WASHINGTON, DC, March 21, 2022) – The National Institute of Building Sciences is getting ready for Building Innovation 2022, and we’re looking for speakers.

BI2022 takes place September 26-28, at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.

“Building Innovation allows us to share the best and most current information around innovation, resilience, and the building sciences,” said Stephen T. Ayers, FAIA, Interim CEO of NIBS. “We invite building industry leaders with valuable insights, case studies, research, and solutions to today’s challenges to present during this important meeting for the built environment.”

Building Innovation convenes those who impact the built environment to meet, share lessons learned, and unveil the latest tools and groundbreaking strategies that affect the building community.

This year’s conference will focus on mitigation, technology, and building performance, tackling improved coordination of these critical elements, ultimately leading to improved building performance and sustainability.

NIBS is looking for speakers to cover the following topics:

  • Building information modeling
  • Digital twins
  • Affordable housing
  • Sustainability
