INCAT Will Supply iCHECK To Major Aerospace, Automotive, And Defense Manufacturers

iCHECK will automate data standards compliance throughout the product lifecycle

DETROIT, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- INCAT Products Inc. (IPI), a subsidiary of INCAT(R) International plc, announced today that during this fiscal quarter, a major automotive OEM, a major aerospace manufacturer and multiple aerospace and defense contractors have selected iCHECK(TM) as their data quality assurance tool. These new clients, combined with other recent iCHECK successes, led to more than $1 million in revenue and to the addition of more than 2,000 users to the iCHECK user community.

The aerospace manufacturer has purchased a site license for iCHECK and will implement it throughout the company and supply chain, to introduce and enforce data standards in an automated fashion. This implementation will help ensure that internal and supplier data adheres to predefined corporate standards and best practices. Similarly, the automotive OEM will implement iCHECK internally and will partner with IPI to rollout iCHECK to its suppliers.

Working inside CATIA(R), iCHECK improves productivity by reducing time wasted on repetitive tasks. iCHECK helps eliminate inaccurate and incomplete designs by automating compliance with defined methodologies and best practices. iCHECK integrates with your Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to become a part of your enterprise quality processes.

"iCHECK is able to interrogate a CATIA design against a set of previously defined corporate standards, providing immediate feedback and -- in many cases -- automatic correction," said Tanuj Bansal, IPI Managing Director. "iCHECK is unique in its capability to allow our clients add their own checks on their own schedule. This flexibility, combined with its ease of use and integration into PLM systems, makes iCHECK the best quality assurance product for CATIA."

"The acceptance of iCHECK by these major forces in divergent industries further establishes it as the leading quality assurance application in the market," said INCAT CEO Ulrich Herter. "iCHECK enhances existing technology to advance the business objectives of organizations where it is implemented."

About iCHECK(TM)

iCHECK(TM) helps CATIA(R) clients eliminate productivity loss because of poor design quality and lack of compliance with corporate standards. iCHECK works from within the CATIA interface, so that users remain in a familiar CAD environment. As a part of the design process, iCHECK is able to interrogate a CATIA model or drawing against a set of previously defined standards -- providing immediate feedback and choices to correct any errors. By using iCHECK as a part of working practices, the integrity of the model data passed on or received is assured. The process of interrogation can be achieved interactively, in batch mode, or through integration with existing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as LCA, VPM, SmarTeam, Teamcenter Engineering and Teamcenter Enterprise.

INCAT is purchased by TATA Tech. and now this software is available for FREE !! Yeah thats right. In India, I came across two cases where TATA Tech. has provided this software for FREE in India.
I hope people would stop investing in the software - as they can get it for free in India.
