MILFORD, OH; AUGUST 29, 2005 – ITI TranscenData, the product data interoperability business of International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI), announces the newest release of its engineering supply chain integration tool – DEXcenter (Data Exchange Center). DEXcenter simplifies, improves, and automates the data exchange process. Files are automatically prepared and translated to the system requirements and intended usage of recipients. When product data files are ready to be shared they are transmitted via the Internet / Intranet at the push of a button. With Version 5, DEXcenter is now available on Windows as well as UNIX servers and provides significant load balancing enhancements to facilitate optimal resource usage.

DEXcenter provides a single, easy to use, browser interface that enables users to send CAD models to suppliers or other internal users even though they may be using dissimilar CAD systems. DEXcenter provides native, IGES, STEP, DXF, and Parasolid translation between each of the major CAD systems including CATIA V4, CATIA V5, Unigraphics, I-DEAS, Solidworks, Pro/ENGINEER, and Autocad. DEXcenter securely and automatically translates files using https, ftp, and Autoweb transmission methods. DEXcenter can be customized to meet an organization’s needs by adding other applications, transmission methods, special translation processing, and integrating with PDM systems.
