This article was very interesting; however, a better description of what Industrial Design is(i.e. Product Design) and how PTC design software is used in this field would have been helpful, particularly for those who have used CAD software in other applications.
A rather glaring error is the mis-naming of the institute of higher learning which Mr Lorman now attends. It is St John's College in Annapolis, not St Johns University (which is in New York).
A little less information about the predicted expansions of the chain of British Schools and a little more about their (clearly unique) design program ---and who teaches it---would have been more relevant to the article. A few sentences about Mr Lorman's design background & experiences, in addition to his use of the PTC software, could have further supported the article. As itwas, I was left feeling rather as if Mr Lorman's design win was somehow connected to the expansion of the British Schools.
Despite these reservations, it is a crdedit to Mr Lorman, the British School Design Program, and PTC that an American student has won this prestigious award.
