UGS Expands PLM In The Mid-Market

As expected, UGS is again at the forefront of technolgy to the mid-range market. Their ownership of the Parasolid Geometry Kernel and D-Cubed have long been overlooked due to poor marketing in the past even thoug Dassault (SolidWorks), Bentley Systems and other competitors have chosen to lease their core technoligies for their products. It appears, at last, they have forced the industry to discover the "best kept secret" in the market place. With Team Center Express and FEMAP (another best kept secret) they have offered the "one stop shopping" for mid-range manufacturers that will eliminate most of the "finger pointing" when products don't function together as expected. Finally a choice to SmarTeam is available and with their proven commitment to the Team Center products and cPDM, they have once agian charted new territory that will benefit those astute enough to study and understand the technical superiority of their products.
